If i’m being honest this week did not go as planned. I had wanted to start exploring the Calm app but I got super busy with work and school. This week was the perfect example of why I need to start mediating because I need to make time for myself. I have also been reading more which is just another way to calm me down and relax instead of being on my phone. Because my main inquiry question is how mediation affects my mood and stress levels, I will start a mood tracker this week. I am going to try to do at least a 20 minute sessions 3x in the morning this week and I will use the Calm app to help me start off. At the end of the week I’ll compare my mood on the days that i meditated versus no meditation. And then the next week I will try a new app because there are so many available. I would also like to try mediation before bed to see how it affects how well I sleep and how quickly I fall asleep.
